“Oh my god! Are you okay? Was it scary?” Christina asked as she checked for any injuries around my body. “CHILL, I’m fine,” holding onto both her shoulders and looking straight into her eyes. I told her all about what happened in detention. Her eyes widened and gave me a shocked face. I nodded to imply that what I said was true in case she didn’t believe me. Finally, after a long awkward silence, while walking back home, she mumbled, ”Wow…” Well, I’m shocked myself, was the truth really reviled to me by the actual person himself? I’m stunned. I waved bye to Christina. I can’t help but think about his eyes — his blue, deep eyes. Wait, why are my cheeks a little hot? Am I blushing? No, it can’t be. It can’t be…

No! I just met him! Sitting on my bed and holding my storybook in my hand, I have a feeling this recently just happened. Oh ya, just yesterday. Yesterday, I still thought the rumors were true, then the very next day, I found out that the bad boys were not bad. Wow, this shows how fast things could change in just a day. “Aw, this story is so nice!” I smiled as I flipped the last page over. The boy and girl turned out to be together. Such a perfect story! Well, I got to snap back into reality and get ready for a new school day.

Oh no! I’m late! Ugh, shouldn’t have slept so late yesterday. I quickly rushed to school, still munching on some breakfast and checking whether I have all I need in my bag. As I looked down at my watch, I- ahh! “ Sorry, I’m kinda in a rush right n-“ I looked up and saw these familiar eyes. It was James! “It’s fine,” he smiled. People around were all shocked at how nice he was. Suddenly realizing that I’m late, I gracefully sped-walked to class. In class, I sat at my spot and kept reliving that moment of the way he looked at me. “Bella!” Huh, what happened? I looked up and a pink slip waving over me. Mrs Sim passed me the pink slip saying, ”Daydreaming in class. Detention now.” Detention! Again. But surprisingly, I felt a little excitement deep in my heart and tingles all around. I stood up fast, walked straight out of the room and into the detention room. It was totally different than yesterday — scared and afraid to excited and joyful.

Once again, I saw James sitting at the back. As I sat down, I waved at him with a little too much excitement. He might get an idea. Yikes. I quickly stopped smiling and acted normal. He jerked his chin upwards a little bit in way of asking why I was there. I thought, why not keep this silence going? So, I used hand signals to show “daydreaming”. Once he saw that, his eyes glanced side to side and I could tell he was thinking about something. That got me anxious. He might be thinking about why I was daydreaming. And that’s bad…really bad.

i believe writing should come from the heart and not just following some format.
